Itinerary

3:00 PM: Departure from the guesthouse to the Lagoa Bonita or Azul circuit (depending on the time of year).
3:40 PM: Ferry crossing on the Rio Preguiças and continuation by 4x4 to the entrance of the dunes.
4:00 PM: Walk through the forest to the first dunes of Lençóis Maranhenses.
4:20 PM: Walk through the lagoons on the circuit, with stops for swimming and resting.
5:10 PM: Picnic and sunset on one of the highest dunes on the circuit.
6:00 PM: Return to the guesthouse.

All round-trip transport for the tours is by adapted 4x4 "jardineira" vehicle, with pick-up and drop-off at your guesthouse.
Each vehicle holds a maximum of 4 people. For groups of 5 or more, the availability of additional vehicles must be checked in advance, which may affect the final cost.

The sky, the sand, and a silence that embraces

Sitting on the dunes, eating fruit and watching the sun set behind the lagoons was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. The vastness, the wind, the silence... everything felt perfect. A gift from nature I’ll never forget.
