About this activity

Greet the new year in Copacabana, then slow down on the coast at Búzios. Seven days to live the turn of the year at one of the world’s largest celebrations and, right after, ease the pace among calm beaches, sea and long lunches.

Your first days are in Rio de Janeiro. You climb up to Christ the Redeemer, wander the bohemian streets of Santa Teresa and discover the historic centre with a local guide, always with free time to feel the city at your own pace. In the late afternoon, Arpoador is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. And on the night of 31 December you live the Réveillon on the sands of Copacabana, with fireworks over the sea.

Then the journey changes pace. A private transfer takes you up the coast to Búzios, where the days unfold mostly on foot: Praia dos Ossos, the tranquil coves of Azeda and the old centre. On one of the mornings, you head out to sea on a sailing boat that follows the peninsula, with swimming stops chosen according to the wind and the conditions of the day. What stays with you is the sense of two Brazils in a single trip: the energy of the celebration and the rest of the coast.
