About this activity

Chapada dos Veadeiros sets the stage for this 5-day experience that blends nature, local culture, and sustainable tourism in the heart of the Brazilian Cerrado. The journey begins in Brasília and continues to Alto Paraíso de Goiás, the base for this adventure. From the outset, the itinerary offers a balanced pace, with comfort and good organisation.

We start by visiting Vale da Lua and Jardim de Maytrea, two of the most iconic locations in Chapada dos Veadeiros. The sculpted rock formations are striking, while the wide-open landscapes of the Cerrado offer perfect moments for reflection and photography. Each stop is carefully timed to be enjoyed at a relaxed pace.

Next, the experience takes us to Quilombo do Moinho. There, we visit the Anjos and Arcanjos Waterfalls, enjoy a traditional lunch, and take part in a cultural activity with the community. This part of the journey highlights community-based tourism and deepens our connection to the territory.

Finally, we head to the village of São Jorge, gateway to Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. The trails reveal crystal-clear rivers and preserved landscapes. The itinerary also includes a visit to Loquinhas or Cristais Waterfalls, both with short, accessible trails. This journey is perfect for those seeking nature, culture, and meaningful experiences.
