Ivan has been a certified tour guide for over 14 years, with a deep and respected presence in the Alto Paraíso de Goiás region. Leading Conexão Chapada, he offers unique and authentic experiences that connect travellers to the living soul of the Brazilian Cerrado. His approach blends technical knowledge, ecological sensitivity, and immense respect for local communities and the land.

But his work goes far beyond tourism. Ivan serves as the Operations Coordinator of the Rede Contra Fogo (Against Fire Network), courageously leading volunteer brigades in the fight against wildfires. It is a mission of direct protection for the Cerrado’s biodiversity, carried out with strong community engagement and regional admiration.

In addition, Ivan is a writer, poet, and international speaker, having been invited to deliver 18 lectures in England by the Heart Of Living Yoga Foundation. He is also the author of the texts in the Essential Guide to Chapada dos Veadeiros, a publication that has become a regional reference.
