On this 10-day expedition, you will encounter unique landscapes, connect with local cultures, and feel the special energy of one of the world’s oldest places.

The adventure begins in Boa Vista, Brazil, and heads into Venezuela, crossing the imposing landscape of the Gran Sabana. This challenging trek is rewarded with spectacular views of Mount Roraima and Mount Kukenan. Nights are spent under a starry sky, with moments of deep connection to nature.

At the summit, prepare to visit the Valley of Crystals, El Fosso, the Jacuzzi Pools, La Ventana viewpoint, and Maverick Rock, the highest point on the mountain. Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Boa Vista, transfer to the Aipana Hotel, and free afternoon to explore the capital and review preparations.
  • Day 2: Briefing at the Aipana Hotel at 8:30 AM, followed by a journey along the BR-174 to the Venezuelan border. Customs procedures and overnight stay in Santa Elena de Uairén.

  • Day 3: Journey through the Gran Sabana to the Paraitepuy Community. Start of the trek, with camping by the river under a starlit sky.
  • Day 4: Hike to the base of Mount Roraima, with breathtaking landscapes and the imposing cliff in sight. Overnight stay at the base camp.

  • Day 5: Ascent to the summit of Mount Roraima, passing waterfalls and natural gardens. Arrival and welcome by the “Guardians of the Mountain.”
  • Day 6: Day of immersion at the summit, visiting the Valley of Crystals, Triple Point, and El Fosso – places of inexplicable beauty and energy.
  • Day 7: Exploration of the Jacuzzis Pools, La Ventana viewpoint, Maverick Rock, and Salto Catedral. Time for contemplation at the summit.

  • Day 8: Descent to the base, with stops for rest and an overnight stay at a trail campsite.

A challenge worth every step

It was days of rain, sun, rock, and beauty. Mount Roraima is intense and sacred. Every step felt like walking into another time. Sleeping on the summit was magical. I came back with stories, silence, and a peace that’s hard to explain.
