Discover the Morro Dois Irmãos trail via Vidigal, an immersive experience in nature and culture in Rio de Janeiro. The adventure begins in Vidigal with a moto-taxi ride to the trailhead. Local guides will lead you through the Atlantic Forest to a first viewpoint overlooking Rocinha, Pedra da Gávea and Pedra Bonita.

Then, walk approximately 1.5 km along a moderate trail to the summit of Morro Dois Irmãos at 533 metres of altitude. From the top, enjoy sweeping views of Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana and Christ the Redeemer.

The best view in Rio

The hike to Morro Dois Irmãos is fairly short, but the view from the top is breathtaking. The climb through Vidigal is smooth, and the panoramic view of Rio from the sea to the mountains is absolutely worth it. The guide was punctual, knowledgeable and made the group feel comfortable.
