  • 08h00: Departure from Palmas.
  • Peixinho River Spring or Enchanted Well: Swimming.
  • Cathedral Mountain Range: Photos and contemplation.
  • Jatobá Spring: Swimming or floating in the Soninho River cove.
  • Optional activity: Climb to the top of  Cathedral Mountain Range via Guardian Trail.

Option 1:

  • Trail between Alecrim Spring and Bela Vista Spring.
    • If the group is interested, the trail can be replaced by vehicle access to the fervedouros.
  • Araras Waterfall: Swimming or Jalapão's Heart Spring.

Option 2:

  • Boa Esperança Community, ending at Jalapão's Heart Spring: Interaction with the community and swimming.
  • Jalapão's Heart Spring: Free afternoon (optional kayaking and floating in the Soninho River).
  • Optional activity 1: Rafting in the Soninho River: 2h30 of navigation through class II and III rapids (activity not included in this booking).
  • Optional activity 2: Crossing Velha Waterfall. Challenging 13 km trail + 10 km of rafting in class III and IV rapids (activity not included in this booking).

    • Viewpoint Trail (easy 8 km trail along the top of the mountain range)
    • Roncadeira and Escorrega Macaco Waterfalls (easy 3 km trail) or Valley of Vai Quem Quer: swimming (depending on group interest)
    • Optional activities: abseiling at Roncadeira Waterfall, with a height of 70 metres, and zip-lining in the Taquaruçu valley, the largest in the North region
    • This extension has flexible end times, and it is possible to finish earlier due to flight schedules. Taquaruçu is 40 minutes from the airport
  • Optional concierge service: overnight stay on the eve or last day of the expedition in Taquaruçu (Palmas mountains) + transfer to Palmas
  • Accommodations with pool, sauna, bar, and extra services are subject to availability

Immersion in the nature and culture of the cerrado

The itinerary is diverse and offers a good mix of nature, culture, and history. Serras Gerais impress with lesser-known landscapes, and Jalapão remains majestic. The logistics were efficient, and the presence of local guides added great value to the experience.
